Best Minimalist Fonts

We are back with our Type-Tuesday series!

With the coming season changing nature all around us, we thought it time to re-group, get organised and start our bi-annual clear out at the office. Dispensing of unnecessary things, knowing where everything is, and giving the office space a new life always gets me in a “minimalist” mood.

Getting inspiration from this well-know trend and translating it into conceiving a brand is something that has been at the core of A:A Designs. Whenever we hear a client say “I want our target audience to know what we are about in one glance”, we more often than not opt for a minimalistic brand approach. This, translated into actual design, would encompass elements such as: a monochromatic palette, simple clean line work, and uncluttered typographical components.

For us, typography is at the centre of design, and so we thought we’d share our most used minimalist fonts that are completely free (and, at the same time, hopefully save you hours of sourcing for this material).

If you are feeling inspired and want to share the love, please feel free to pin this image to your board. For even more inspiration, make sure to hop on over to our Pinterest or Instagram profiles.

Please note that although all of these are free fonts for personal use, not all of them are free for commercial use, so please get in touch with the author to confirm it for commercial use.

Have you used any of these before, if so, how did you used them? If you are using them for the first time, what is your verdict? If you have any additional script font suggestions, please do let us know. I can’t wait to read all your comments!

Happy Musings!!
