Blogs every creative entrepreneur should follow! Part 2

We have found that reading blogs and connecting with fellow bloggers & entrepreneurs can really give you an insight of what this entrepreneurial world is all about. Not only do other entrepreneurs understand the day-to-day journey of keeping their business & blog alive, but they also have strategies and tips that they’ve tried and tested before you, which you might not have even thought of.

Last month we gave you a short-list of blogs we use regularly to help us on our entrepreneurial journey. Today, we have a couple more we’d like to share with you.

Simple Pin Media Podcast

Since the summer we have been hard at work, building our online presence on Pinterest. Now, this is a platform that, unlike Instagram, people look to for information and will gladly click towards your website if they find that the information you are offering is in line with what they need. While sifting through the stream of information about Pinterest marketing, we found Kate Ahl and her Simple Pin Media Blog & Podcast. In both of them she does an amazing job of explaining everything Pinterest and invites experts from different niches to share their Pinterest wisdom.

She Owns It

This blog’s manifesto is to empower women to write their own success stories! This is truly the place to find the ‘spark’ that sometimes gets lost amidst the noise. The can-do attitude of these women-in-business-focused blog targets topics such as advice on how to reach goals, tech innovation reviews and guidance from seasoned female entrepreneurs. This blog has many a time inspired us to keep going and grow as an entrepreneur.

Redefining Mom

Again, if Pinterest is on your mind, Monica Froese might be someone you’d like to check out! She does a great job of simplifying marketing - and, especially, Pinterest marketing - in a way that you feel you have some control over what you are doing over on the platform.

With so many interesting blogs on the web these days, this list doesn’t even begin to scrape the surface. If you’d like to know a couple more blogs that have made it to my go-to blog list, then keep tuned, as I’ll be writing a follow-up blog post on this subject in the weeks to come.

Have you read any of these before? If so, which? What are some of your favourite business advice blogs, not mentioned above? Please do let us know. I can’t wait to read all your comments!
