November Moodboard + Monthly Goals
Hello All! How are you all doing?
Can you believe Thanksgiving is already around the corner! Even though traditionally we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Portugal, I have always loved this holiday’s spirit. The idea of being present in the moment, thinking deep and analysing where we are in life, what we have accomplished and voicing it, is an exercise that we should probably do more often. I will definitely be taking time this month to do so, even if this year’s festivities might look a little different from what they have in previous years.
This month’s moodboard is a falling leaves, raining vibes, deep earthy tones-inspired look and feel to give your productive brain a kick start.
November Goals:
Investing in my business
With the new season, we wanted to incorporate a couple of fall-inspired pieces to the office and have been digging through the internet for them. We have specially loved our Honeycomb Textured Glass Candle & Linear Wood Table Lamp. For a full list of home office fall-inspired pieces, hop over to our Pinterest dedicated board.
Appreciation Month
It is so easy to get ourselves all worked-up around our own problems and issues, either professional or personal, so it is important to look up from our own belly-bottoms once in a while and have a look around the world/community that is around us. In the spirit of this month’s holiday, I will be implementing a couple of strategies to help me help others. I will be lending a hand within our community with a couple of non-profit projects, and I will also be connecting more with friends and family to lend a helping ear or shoulder where needed. This will definitely give me a different perspective about my own problems and, in a way, be appreciative of what I have - which I am all about this month.
Keep-up with the healthy routines
Back at the beginning of October I wanted to jump-start a couple of healthy routines to be able to hold myself accountable to a balanced lifestyle and diet. While I was in the process of setting these goals, it got me thinking that I wanted attainable goals that I would be able to permanently integrate into my routine because, to be honest, in the past I’ve done the fast and quick problem-solving yo-yo diets and (besides never being able to stick to them) you are always left with the same feeling of failure & doubt that I’d rather avoid these days. I am proud to announce that I have been able to definitely start Staying hydrated and will continue to work on the remaining two - Sweet tooth & Keep moving. If you want to know what they are all about, have a look at last month’s blog, where I go more in depth into what they entail.
How are you welcoming November? What are some of your goals? I can’t wait to read all your comments!
